Critical Reflection

This critical reflection will encompass what I have learned and show my growth in this past three months of the module.  This module was my first class in Singapore Institute of Technology, everything was so foreign to me when I first came in for class. New people, new environment, this led me to being shy to talk to others in the class. But as the weeks started to go by, I got to know each of my classmates. The second week of class was where we did our self-introductions through the blog, from there I got to know others more in depth through what they wrote, which includes their educational background, etc. At the same time, goals for what we want to achieve for ourselves were also set. For me, my goal is to be more confident in my public speaking skills as I will stutter in the past.  Subsequently throughout the module, there is significant improvement in what I wanted to improve on in the goals I set for myself in week 2, which is the be more confident in my public speaking...

The article “Everything You Need To Know About Tesla’s New 4680 Battery Cell”, written by (Field, 2020), introduces the features and function of the all-new 4680 tabless rechargeable battery, which is a type of lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery that is manufactured primarily by Tesla and other companies. According to Lambert (2023), It is currently featured in the Model Y that is being produced in Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas and it is the first battery cell to feature a different chassis or battery pack design. The 4680 is a gamer changer for Tesla and will enable a completely new generation of low-cost electric vehicles according to Field. Tesla’s 4680 battery cell’s all new features will bring a lot of benefits compared to previous iterations, including higher performance, better thermal management, and lower cost benefits, but it is still a technical immaturity as it is a relatively new technology.  Tesla’s all new 4680 battery is designed with the dimensions 46mm x 80mm (...

Student Participation

I believe that I deserve to be graded "Good" for student participation. Even though I missed a few lesson as I fell sick on those days, my participation and interest in class was adequate. For example, when questions was asked at me, I will try my best to answer whatever was asked. Thesis/report feedbacks I will try to clarify what it meant when I do not understand it. This has helped me with my writing and speaking skills that is shown progressively through the classes and in the oral presentation. Therefore, I believe that the grade "Good" should be awarded.
