The importance of communication skills for engineers.
"Communication skills are an essential component in the education of engineering students to facilitate not just students' education but also to prepare them for their future career." (Marc Riemer, Faculty of Engineering, Monash University, 2007). As engineers, we will be leading a team and communication in a team is a coremost vital part of getting things done. Without communication, efficiency level will decrease and mistakes will be made, some of them being fatal in the worst case. Engineers represent the company outside as they will interact with engineers of other companies, thus how we communicate with others is how we portray outselves, which in return will reflect on our own company.
